Taste of UlsterNeil Bradley Restaurant- Copper, Co. Down

With such an abundance of world-class food on our doorstep we are proud to work with Taste of Ulster in bringing it to our customers.

Taste of Ulster is the only guide that promotes and encourages establishments to use quality local produce.

We decided to enter for Taste of Ulster status as it lets our customers know how important the use of quality local produce and excellent service are to us.

Peter McAlister Restaurant- Malmaison Brasserie, Co. Antrim

Taste of Ulster gives us the platform to highlight to the wider audience our award winning and original home grown and local menu.

Taste of Ulster helps to unite restaurants across the country to promote healthy living, local produce and a thriving food industry.

Taste of Ulster allows Malmaison to be accredited for having high quality standards, promoting the best local produce and meeting the high level of standards required.

Elizabeth Heron Restaurant- Finnegan’s of Kircubbin, Co. Down

To be included in a publication widely available to locals and tourists is a great benefit.

This is the first guide we have been included in since we opened one and a half years ago.

We strive to have high standards in the meals produced and service provided and wanted these recognised.

StanleyMatthews Restaurant- The Lime Tree, Co. Londonderry

Helps us to promote that we use local produce and helps us to be marketed within Northern Ireland.

It concentrates more on the province of Ulster and helps to promote our wonderful local produce.

It is nice to be associated with such a recognised guide to food in Northern Ireland. It lets customers be aware of what we are offering.

Lyle and Anne Taggart Restaurant- Fullerton Arms, Co. Antrim

In our view being a member of Taste of Ulster guarantees good local produce on our plates.

Taste of Ulster is Northern Ireland’s only guide.

We decided to enter for Taste of Ulster status because it is a good achievement.

Seamus O’Donnell Restaurant- Yankee Star Grill house, Co. Tyrone

It makes the customer more aware that we use local produce.

With the guide we are more widely promoted and it is more popular than other guides.

It is very important, as we are the first establishment in our area to be in the guide.

Emma Edgar Restaurant- Edgar’s Restaurant, Co. Down

The Taste of Ulster is a prestigious award that people know about.

They can’t be bought; we actually have to provide a good service and local food.

We entered our establishment to push out restaurant on to help us compete and to sell the fact that we use local produce.

Nuala Griffiths- Cafe Calm, Co. Londonderry

Taste of Ulster helps us create more assurances to a wider audience of what we have on offer, and we are the first café to d so in the North West.

The Taste of Ulster is well established and the guidebook is distributed on a wider basis.

Café Calm is unique to the city. It helps us raise our profile of who we are and helps to highlight the café culture as part of the night time economy, also by serving great tasting local produce at our tapas nights.

Brian Jardine Restaurant- Pot Belly Restaurant, Co. Armagh

Taste of Ulster helps promote our restaurant through the use of local produce; the booklet is a handy pocket/bag size and is easily referred to.

Taste of Ulster is local and widely used.

Taste of Ulster is held in high esteem with customers and I feel it is ultimately important to be included in the booklet.
